Privacy Policy

The short version

Your photos never leave your phone. Yeet or Keep runs entirely on-device. We cannot see, access, or collect your photos, photo metadata, or any image content. Period.

What we collect

• Email address (only if you voluntarily submit it via our website waitlist form)
• Subscription status managed through Google Play and RevenueCat — we do not directly store payment information
• Basic analytics via Vercel (page views, country) — no personal identifiers

What we do NOT collect

• Photos or photo content
• Photo metadata (EXIF, location, timestamps)
• Contacts, calendar, or other personal data
• Usage patterns or behavioral tracking
• Device identifiers beyond anonymous RevenueCat IDs

On-device processing

All photo analysis — including duplicate detection (perceptual hashing), blur detection, screenshot identification, and category classification — runs entirely on your device using metadata heuristics. No cloud APIs, no ML models hosted elsewhere, no server-side processing of any kind.

Third-party services

• RevenueCat — Subscription management. See their privacy policy.
• Google Play Billing — Handles payment processing.
• Resend — Email delivery for our waitlist.
• Vercel — Website hosting and analytics.

Data storage

Waitlist email addresses are stored via Resend's audience management. No other user data is stored on our servers. All app data (preferences, statistics, cleanup history) is stored locally on your device.

Children's privacy

Yeet or Keep is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised date.
